The Food and Nutrition Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture provides important and unique information pertaining to the five major food groups. These groups offer important nutrients for all stages of life. Therefore, It is important to never skip any of the groups mentioned because it can lead to deficiencies, heart, and other health related issues.
